Privacy Policy
This site is operated by James Laker, a real estate advisor in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. This page explains what happens to the information you give me. It is written plainly on purpose.
What I collect
Only what you type into a form on this site:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your buying timeline, if you select one
- Any message you write
Alongside that, the form records the page you submitted from, the web address you arrived on (including any campaign tracking parameters), the site that referred you, your IP address and your browser user-agent string. That is used to understand which pages and campaigns are working, and to limit automated spam.
What I do with it
I contact you about Palmilla and Los Cabos real estate, and I send you the buyer’s guide if you asked for it. That is the whole purpose.
I do not sell your information, and I do not share it with lead-generation networks or third-party brokerages. Enquiries come to me directly. If a transaction proceeds, your details are shared with the professionals it requires — the notary, the trustee bank, escrow — and with nobody else.
Where it is stored
In a database on this site’s hosting account, and in my email. It is kept for as long as it is useful for the purpose above. Ask me to delete it and I will, without argument.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies and runs no third-party tracking pixels. If site analytics are enabled they are used in aggregate to see which pages are read.
Outbound links to the property search at james.findmexicohouses.com carry campaign tracking parameters so I can see which pages send genuine interest. Those parameters identify the page, not you. That site has its own privacy policy and its own cookies.
Third-party links
Links to WhatsApp, the property search and any other external site are governed by those services’ own policies, not this one.
Your choices
- Ask me what I hold about you — I will tell you
- Ask me to correct it — I will
- Ask me to delete it — I will, and confirm when it is done
- Unsubscribe from anything I send, at any time, using the link in the email
